"Man Steps Through the World, AI Growth Takes Root"—this UK research journey marks a milestone in my educational career. It revealed education’s boundless potential and clarified my path forward. With this harvest and inspiration, I will march forward with passion and purpose, contributing to education’s evolution in the AI era. Here, at the frontier of pedagogy, Manchester’s rain, Cambridge’s willows, and Rolls-Royce’s metallic sheen remind me: education’s core is guiding souls to reach for the stars. As educators in the AI age, we must be torchbearers—illuminating paths while empowering students to carry the flame forward. This journey’s end is but education’s new beginning, where every lesson becomes a spark, every interaction a step, and every student a creator of tomorrow.

I am eager to continue my professional development by staying updated on the latest trends in education and technology. I believe that by continuously learning and adapting, I can contribute to the advancement of our university's educational quality and internationalization efforts. The study tour at the University of Manchester has been a remarkable journey of learning and growth. The two core themes of "Pioneering Education" and "Industry-Academia Integration" have provided me with a solid foundation to transform my teaching practices and contribute to the development of a future-oriented educational ecosystem. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to applying my newfound knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on my students and our university.

Looking back on this study tour, I feel immensely privileged and enriched. As a teacher with two decades of experience, I firmly believe that teaching and learning are reciprocal and that learning is a never-ending process. This cross-cultural learning experience not only broadened my international perspective and enhanced my understanding of educational digitalization and internationalization trends but also prompted me to re-examine my own teaching and research practices. I am committed to translating what I have learned and reflected upon into concrete actions to promote classroom reform and disciplinary integration, contributing further to the development of our university's internationalized faculty and the enhancement of its education quality.

This research trip allowed me to deeply appreciate the innovative development of international high-level education and technology, while also seeing the gaps and the direction forward. I will encourage and guide students to participate in mathematical modeling competitions, which are among the best bridges connecting mathematical theory with social application. Simultaneously, I will place greater emphasis on cultivating students' logical thinking skills and software tool proficiency in teaching.I will translate what I have learned, felt, and thought into concrete actions to improve my work, dedicated to enhancing teaching quality, stimulating student potential, and contributing my part to the development of the mathematics discipline and the cultivation of applied talents at our university.

This trip to the UK was a "going out" to learn and a "sinking down" to think. From heuristic education to the inspiration of the Turing spirit, from infrastructure construction to the human environment, all reshaped my understanding of education and responsibility. As a teacher of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, it is not only necessary to guide students to have an international perspective and learn from the strengths of other countries in educational concepts and research atmospheres; Students should be grounded in China, understand the country's development achievements, and be more patriotic and enterprising.

The 15-day study and life in the UK allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the UK from the perspectives of economy, politics, education, culture and language. I deeply felt that: Today, China has caught up with and even surpassed capitalist countries such as the UK in various technical fields including industry and agriculture. Nevertheless, we still need to continue to develop and pursue advanced industry and advanced productive forces. At the same time, we should further expand opening-up and exchanges with Western countries, promote the dissemination of our industrial products, economic and financial concepts, language and culture to the outside world, and continue to adhere to the path of development to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!

This training in the UK has given me a clear understanding of the room for improvement in digital education and internationalized teaching in Chinese universities. In addition, this study tour in the UK not only broadened my knowledge and horizons but also refreshed my educational philosophy. Going forward, I will integrate these experiences with the practical teaching practices of my university, continuously optimizing my teaching methods through exploration, and contributing to the cultivation of high-quality talent that adapts to the needs of the times.

The two-week immersion convinced me that AI is not merely a productivity booster; it is becoming the invisible co-teacher enabling nuanced, culturally attuned bilingual education. By combining Manchester’s technical infrastructure, Oxford’s academic-skills framework, Cambridge’s linguistic resources and Lancaster’s ethical governance, we can craft next-generation classrooms where language difference becomes a resource rather than a barrier. I return home committed to implementing an evidence-based, ethically governed and genuinely bilingual ecosystem that prepares students for AI-augmented, internationally collaborative futures.

These experiences will greatly influence my teaching, research, and cultural dissemination activities at Xi'an Traffic Engineering Institute. I am inspired to integrate more practical and ethical AI elements into our civil engineering curriculum, explore interdisciplinary research opportunities, and use AI technologies to preserve and share our own cultural heritage in civil engineering. This tour has not only deepened my understanding of AI and its applications but also broadened my perspective on international innovation and collaboration. It serves as a reminder that in the age of AI, technological advancement must be accompanied by ethical considerations, cultural awareness, and a commitment to global innovation and sustainability. In the words of the ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius, "Travel widely, and you will know much." This tour has indeed allowed me to travel widely in the realm of AI and international innovation, and I am confident that the knowledge and experiences gained will greatly benefit our institute and its mission to educate and innovate for the future.
