This training was not only an opportunity to "recharge" knowledge and skills but also a "wall-breaking journey" for educational philosophy. I am determined to internalize the knowledge, experiences, and insights gained from this program, translate them into action, and actively convert them into practical steps to promote classroom teaching reform. I will strive to organically integrate AI technology with bilingual teaching. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our institution for this valuable opportunity, to the University of Manchester for its meticulous arrangements, and to the professors for their generous sharing of knowledge. I am also thankful to every colleague in the delegation for the mutual support and intellectual exchange in a foreign land, which made this journey exceptionally warm and productive. I will take this training experience as a new starting point, continuously exploring and applying what I've learned in practice, striving to live up to expectations and moving forward with determination.

This study at the University of Manchester did not teach me any "immediate" technologies or models, but it made my understanding of AI education empowerment and bilingual teaching more "down-to-earth". For application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities, we do not need to pursue "high-end" technologies, nor do we need to imitate the "formal bilingualism" of foreign universities. Instead, we should base ourselves on the ability demands of students and the actual teaching situation of the school, take AI as an "auxiliary tool", and bilingualism as a "carrier serving the major", truly making teaching reform take root for the growth of students. In the future, I will take this training as a starting point, and in my teaching, I will practice and adjust simultaneously. I will neither blindly follow the trend of technology nor stick to traditional experience. I will strive to explore a path of AI+ bilingual teaching suitable for application-oriented undergraduate colleges. At the same time, we also hope to exchange and share with more peers to jointly promote the quality improvement of applied education.

This study abroad program was a valuable learning journey. I not only absorbed advanced educational concepts and teaching methods but also recognized the gaps between our university and world-class universities in internationalization and interdisciplinary integration. In the future, I will apply the knowledge and experience gained from this program to my teaching and research work. Firstly, I will promote the integration of AI technology into classroom teaching to build an innovative smart classroom model. Secondly, I will strengthen the construction of bilingual courses, focusing on the improvement of students' academic thinking and critical thinking abilities while enhancing their language skills. Finally, I will actively promote industry-university cooperation, introducing more high-quality enterprise resources into the classroom to cultivate talents who meet the needs of social and industrial development.I believe that with the joint efforts of all teachers, Xi'an Traffic Engineering University will make greater progress in building a high-level international education system and move towards a new journey of diversified and coordinated development.

This study trip, which combined thematic lectures, academic visits, and intercultural exchanges, provided comprehensive insights into contemporary trends in artificial intelligence applications in education and bilingual pedagogy within the UK higher education context. The experience has significantly enriched my academic vision, advanced my professional competence, and informed the design of my forthcoming bilingual elective course Professional English for Communication Engineering. The study trip to the University of Manchester not only broadened my academic horizon but also provided practical strategies for advancing bilingual and AI-assisted education in China. By applying these insights, I aim to cultivate communication engineering students who are linguistically proficient, culturally competent, and academically prepared for global collaboration. This study trip thus represents an important step in strengthening the internationalization and modernization of teaching practices at our institution.

The verdant British summer, with its lush greenery and the weight of history, is brimming with academic vitality. I am deeply grateful to the school and the International Exchange Center for this cross-border learning opportunity, which has enabled me to embark on an AI-empowered bilingual teaching journey at several top UK universities. From the practical enlightenment of AI technology integration in teaching at the University of Manchester to the intellectual stimulation of behavioral and psychological economics at Lancaster University; from the fusion of AI technology development and bilingual teaching concepts at the University of Leeds to the in-depth dialogue on architectural design and culture at the University of Liverpool; and finally to the experience of thesis writing and urban culture at the University of Oxford. Over the 14-day itinerary, the depth and breadth of knowledge have been constantly interwoven, and the collision between technology and humanity has opened a new window for me to re-understand the essence of education.

The program deepened our understanding of the importance of cultural confidence and cross-cultural communication. By interacting with scholars from diverse backgrounds, I learned to appreciate both the commonalities and differences between Eastern and Western educational philosophies. This has strengthened our resolve to foster a more inclusive, innovative, and globally conscious learning environment for our students. The 2025 Summer Faculty Development Program at the University of Manchester was a transformative experience that combined academic rigor with cultural enrichment. It strengthened our ideological commitment to high-quality, internationally oriented education and provided us with practical tools and ideas to improve our teaching and research. I am confident that the insights gained will significantly contribute to the internationalization and innovation of education at Xi’an Traffic Engineering Institute.

The 14-day UK study tour may have been short in duration, but it was incredibly fulfilling and enriching in every sense. It was a journey of discovery that took me from the in-depth exploration of bilingual teaching methodologies to the hands-on practical application of AI intelligent tools in the classroom. It exposed me to the profound academic influence of world-renowned universities and facilitated meaningful cross-cultural communication that sparked fascinating ideological collisions and exchanges. Every single experience, whether in the classroom, during campus visits, or in casual conversations with fellow educators, has contributed significantly to my professional growth, leaving me with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. As I look to the future, I am determined to integrate all that I have learned from this transformative study tour into the daily teaching of the music major at Xi'an Traffic Engineering University. I will actively explore and refine bilingual teaching models that are tailored to the unique needs of my students, and I will rationally and effectively apply AI intelligent tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience. My ultimate goal is to continuously improve the quality of music education I provide, to help each student unlock their full potential and achieve greater development on their musical journey, and to make a meaningful contribution to the innovation and progress of music education at my university and beyond.

My study program in the UK was a life-changing experience. It taught me not only about academics and culture but also about myself—my strengths, my passions, and my potential. The critical thinking skills I gained, the friendships I formed, and the perspectives I learned will stay with me forever. This study trip to the UK was more than just an update of my knowledge; it was a profound reshaping of my thinking and expansion of my horizons. It made me realize that in the field of education AI, which is full of opportunities and challenges, only by maintaining an "open learning" mindset, a "rigorous and practical" attitude, and a "cross-boundary collaboration" awareness can I continuously surpass myself and contribute more to the development of the industry. In the future, I will carry these gains and insights with me and continue to move forward steadily on my professional path.
